German Panzer IV tank photos

While the Panther, Tiger and King Tiger have attained more fame, the all-around best German tank maybe was the hashtag#Panzer IV. It was in production for the duration of the war. It fought in most campaigns and most battles. It underwent many upgrades to its gun, armor and more, a testimony to the well thought out design which allowed upgrading. Its chassis was the basis of many variants, including the StuG series of anti-tank guns, self-propelled guns and more. Production numbers are 8,553 for all Panzer IV tanks, but these numbers don't count the self-propelled guns and anti-tank guns built on the same chassis.
